We’re excited to announce that HomeGround is open once again and doing what it does best – serving great food and drink in the heart of Milton Keynes.

Situated on the ground floor of YMCA Milton Keynes’ campus, HomeGround will be open from 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. Visitors will enjoy freshly prepared food that has been made using locally sourced produce. Keeping it ‘local’ underpins everything that HomeGround stands for. Not only does the café buy from local suppliers – Wooden Hill Coffee Company, Better Bakery, 4 Fudge Sake, Humbo’s Candy and The Online Greengrocer to name a few – but as a social enterprise for YMCA Milton Keynes, HomeGround also provides employment and training opportunities for the local young people living on campus. This means that when people pop in for a hearty breakfast or lunchtime snack, not only will they enjoy a delicious meal, but they will also be supporting YMCA Milton Keynes and its residents.

Marc Yerrell HomeGround Manager said of the reopening: “We’ve been counting down the days and are thrilled to be serving great food and drink to the Milton Keynes community once again. Our staff are eager to welcome customers and create that warm and inviting feeling that people experienced prior to the pandemic. Sourcing produce locally means that not only are we buying fresh, but we’re also supporting other independent businesses that have also felt the impact of COVID-19. We simply can’t wait to see our tables filled with happy and well-fed customers once again.”

Located on North Sixth Street and in walking distance from centre:mk, and with plenty of nearby parking, HomeGround is ideally situated for anyone looking for a hidden gem where they can rest and refuel or catch up over a coffee with friends and family.
